Our Philosophy

A beautiful garden doesn't just happen...

A mural (designed and painted by Kate) can turn an eyesore into a focal point.

It is the product of equal parts inspiration, education, and experience. At Kate Anchordoguy Landscaping, Inc. we believe that every seemingly hopeless yard has a lovely Inner Garden waiting within. Our job is to give tangible form to this garden of your dreams. If necessary, we can even supply the dream!

But a garden is only as beautiful as it is functional. A skillfully crafted infrastructure - drainage, irrigation, and soil preparation - is crucial to the success of the landscape vision. These invisible foundations account for about 70% of all the work that goes into a project. With coursework in ornamental horticulture and a degree in landscape architecture, plus more than 30 years in the field, there aren't too many problems we haven't studied, seen, and solved.

Kate Anchordoguy Landscaping, Inc. has been practicing sustainable landscaping before the term was ever coined. We design site specific schemes that work with the natural features, existing vegetation and specific microclimates unique to each location. We minimize the import and export of materials into and out of each job. We use recycled materials and locally grown plants whenever possible. And we do our utmost to minimize run-off and soil erosion.

Our most valuable asset is our reputation. Ninety-two percent of our customers say that they would hire us all over again, and we mean to keep it that way. We stand behind our work and follow up on callbacks promptly. We want our customers to be not just satisfied, but delighted.
